You may lose sales when you can’t answer the phone quickly enough for call-in orders. Even when your staff can take phone orders, there may be errors associated with taking the orders or the time could be spent on other things.  

Free up phone lines by driving customers to online ordering. We’ve seen three primary methods used by our restaurant clients to drive orders online: 

 Virtual Receptionist: Advise customers to place orders online through a virtual receptionist  
– Answering Machine: Inform customers the staff is too busy to come to the phone; ask for orders to be placed online 
– Answer the Phone to Quickly Inform the Customer: Quickly answer the phone, inform the customer the restaurant is unable to take phone orders and request orders are made online
